Visit to Tuvalu National Disaster Management Office The mission was undertaken from 24-27th October 2005 by Jonathan Mitchell and had the following objectives: (1) To hold discussions with the Tuvalu National Disaster Management Office Coordinator on activities currently being undertaken. (2) To strengthen communication between SOPAC and its members by having discussions with other SOPAC contact points in Tuvalu. (3) To provide technical support to the NDMO by installing a SOPAC-funded laptop as well as conducting maintenance on other NDMO information technology equipment.
